Now that summer is here, it's time to focus on training. Because of the quarantine, a lot of you have gone without team practices. Without this organization, you may be having a hard time staying motivated. So, I thought today would be the perfect time to teach you how to become more motivated and consistent with training.
I have been reading a book called Limitless by Jim Kwik, who is a brain coach. Jim's formula for motivation is: Motivation=purpose x energy x small daily actions.
I'm going to break down each step based on how I see it.
First, you need to figure out is your purpose. Why do you want to do the thing that you're trying to do? Why does it matter to you? If it doesn't matter to you, you're not going to go try.
Second, you have to have energy to stay motivated. You have to sleep well, eat well, and stay hydrated.
