Would you ever be ashamed to tell someone about your new personal record or your extra training you've been doing? My guess is... no.
Then why are we ashamed to talk about the work we are putting on our mental performance?

Today is all about how to deal with cliquey teammates.
When your team has a lot of cliques, you don't perform as well as a team. Therefore, you're not going to achieve your team goals or your personal goals, right?
Everything is a lot more fun when your team is a cohesive unit. And everything runs a whole lot smoother.
It's important to feel like a family with your teammates and in turn, you will all jive well together.
Here are a few things you can do to deal with those cliquey teammates in order to have a more cohesive team environment.
#1: Have a conversation with the leaders of the team
Try to come up with things that the team (or leaders) can do to bring the team closer together. How can you have better team chemistry?

Get the coaches involved and have a team meeting. Discuss the importance of playing as a team, eliminating the cliques, and getting to know each of your teammates on a deeper level. Get outside of your...
Today will be all about what to do after you get benched.
Now, I'm talking about getting benched because you made a mistake, or your coach is mad at you, or you are not working hard. When I was playing, I never knew what to do in those situations.
Usually, when you get benched, all you think about is the negative, right? You come off the field huffing and puffing and MAD! This is not engaging and will not help you in any way. You are not thinking about what you can do better in this moment.
BUT... I want to give you some tips that will help you in this scenario.
The first thing I want you to do is: Ask your coach for feedback.
This is especially important if you don't know what you did wrong. If you want to get back on the field and be better, make it known to your coach that you want to fix whatever it is that you did wrong. Something you could say is, "What can I do next time I get back on the field to do better?"
The second tip is: Focus on your breathing.

The only thing that's holding you back is YOU.
It's not your injuries. It's not your mom. It's not your dad. It's not your circumstances. It's not your coach. It's you and your mindset. Our fear of failure and inability to be consistent gets in the way.
What do you need to do to get out of your own way?
You need to continuously evolve and be aware of what you're doing to stop yourself from achieving your dreams and living to your full potential.
This is a wake up call that we all need. Realize that nothing, absolutely nothing, is going to stop you from achieving your dreams, except for YOU.
My challenge for you this week is first, write down what you want to achieve in life. Short term, long term, anything you aspire to do. Next, write down all the things that are stopping you from achieving those dreams. What is it going to take to get there?
My guess is, it's going to take you getting out of your own...

Let's try to practice focusing on the positive and having a more positive mindset. Why do we always think the worst? As humans, our brains are naturally wired to focus on the negative. WHY?? Because it's easier. It is especially easy to focus on the negativity in today's world, because of all the stuff that is happening right now.
But, we have control over one thing: OUR MINDSET.
Let's learn how to change our negative mindset into a positive one.
#1: Don't watch the news
Getting constant news updates is not helpful for our mindset. Picking up our phone for every notification can contribute to anxiety and and automatically thinking in a negative mindset.
